Summary: Most of your data stays on your device. For AI features, the relevant tweet text is sent to our service, which forwards it to an LLM provider to produce a draft; we do not store that content. We never sell your data and run no ad/tracking pixels.
XTweetly Agent, currently listed in the Chrome Web Store as XAgent, is a Chrome extension plus a small managed-AI backend. The extension keeps most data on your device; the backend only processes AI requests and manages your plan/credits.
In chrome.storage.local only: settings, your style profile (extracted from your own tweets), the suggestion queue, local action counters, an anonymous install/device id, and — if you subscribe — your license key. Uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data deletes all of it.
When you use an AI feature (analyze / draft / score), the relevant tweet text and a summary of your style profile are sent to our service, which forwards them to an LLM provider (currently routed via OpenRouter) and returns the result. We do not permanently store this content. We do store account metadata: plan status, credit balance, and usage counts (task type, token counts, timestamps) keyed to your device id or license key — not your tweets or drafts.
Subscriptions are handled by Gumroad (Merchant of Record). Gumroad processes your payment details; we only see your license key and plan status.
Actions on X run through your own logged-in browser session. We do not collect separate X credentials.
We do not sell your data. The only external data flows are the LLM provider (for AI processing) and Gumroad (for payment). No analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking.
Default dry-run mode (nothing is sent to X), a kill switch, daily/hourly limits, and uninstall (which erases all local data).
Browser-session automation may conflict with X's Terms of Service and could put your account at risk. XTweetly Agent is a personal-use tool; you assume the risk. XTweetly Agent is not affiliated with X Corp.
